First, a favour to ask – if you have especially enjoyed any of my newest publications, or the newest publications of any of your other favourite indie or small press-published authors, it would be deeply appreciated if you might nominate your favourites for the Indie Ink Awards 2025, especially An Uncommon Betrothal and Historic Brotherhood, if those measure in your estimations!
Secondly, thank you very much for a very wonderful BristolCon!
It was definitely on the quieter side because of FantasyCon coming up the weekend following, and this quietness was definitely noticed in the Dealer’s Room and the Art Room, but the panels were great fun and it was still a lovely vibe, and as ever it was wonderful to meet a lot of new people and connect with convention regulars.
If you weren’t able to go but might be interested in catching up on the panels, you can have a look through the livestream here:
Readers of mine might be particularly interested in checking out the work of CM Kuhtz, who is a nonbinary author whose fantasy works feature fat and nonbinary protagonists, as well as checking out the various works published by Wizard’s Tower Press.
As well as Slake House, which has now been re-released for free, my epic dark romance novel, Powder and Feathers, is part of a bundle of 32 books featuring trans characters, largely written by trans authors, for just $35 USD!

You can get Trans People Take on the World until November 15th!
Please share away with whoever might appreciate it!
Also of potential interest is this new release from me – I’ve made Each Man An Island available as a 99p eBook, which is available here, on Amazon, or from anywhere else.
I am tipping away working on different projects – getting preorders of An Uncommon Betrothal ready to send out and preparing for the book launch later this month here in Leeds, working on various new pieces, and editing my A Coup Of Owls release that’s coming out in December!
